This program, brought to you by American Express Australia Limited (ABN 92 108 952 085) and Dimmi Pty Ltd (ABN 49 135 408 927), allows you to sync your eligible American Express® Card with your Dimmi account. The program allows you to find and book American Express Warmly Welcoming restaurants.
Your participation is governed by, and subject to, these Terms and Conditions. By syncing your Card for the program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. At all times, the use of your Card is governed by, and subject to, your general Card Terms and Conditions.
By participating in this program your eligible American Express Card and Dimmi account will be synced. Under the program:
You will be identified as an American Express Card Member on your Dimmi profile.
American Express Card Member Sync
This allows you to sync your eligible American Express Card with your Dimmi account on a secure American Express hosted page. Please note we will not share any of your transaction data with Dimmi (e.g transaction amounts, Card data, etc).
Throughout the partnership, we will run Amex Offers campaigns to eligible Card Members who book with Dimmi. If you take up such an offer, you will only receive the applicable benefit if you meet the Offer Terms and Conditions. Amex Offers are subject to certain Terms and Conditions that will be provided at the time the offer is made to you.
We may send you emails periodically regarding your participation in this program.
Only consumer Cards issued in Australia by American Express Australia Limited or a licensed third party issuer, including store Cards, are eligible for registration (eligible Card). The following Cards are not eligible: prepaid Cards, gift Cards, corporate Cards and David Jones Storecards.
Eligible Card Member
In order to sync your eligible Card, you must:
If you are an eligible Card Member you may sync your eligible Card through Dimmi here, in accordance with the instructions provided.
An eligible Card Member may only sync one eligible Card per Dimmi account.
Replacement Cards: If you are issued a replacement Card with a new Card number after syncing, your participation in this offer will end. You will need to unsync the old Card and sync your new Card to your Dimmi account, and any existing booking/s will need to be cancelled and a new booking/s made on the new Card.go to top
You can cancel your participation in this program at any time by disconnecting your synced Card by visiting your Dimmi Account online. You may also contact Dimmi's Customer Service.go to top
We use your personal information such as name, email address, account number and transaction information to sync your eligible Card and manage your participation in the program. We will not share any of your personal information or Card details directly with Dimmi. However, once you sync your Card, we will create a unique identifier which will identify you as being an American Express Card Member to Dimmi. We will not provide any partners with access to this unique identifier or to any of your personal information.
Any information collected by us in connection with Dimmi Sync shall be handled by American Express strictly in accordance with its privacy policies and statements. From time to time, you may not be able to access or use the program (or sync your Card for the program) for reasons such as performance degradation, service interruption, problems with your internet connection or device. We do not accept any liability if you cannot sync your Card for the program or if it is unavailable, interrupted or suspended for any reason. If you cannot sync your eligible Card or access any of the pages, please try to access it again later.
We do not accept any liability if your selected merchant cannot process your transactions in a particular way at any time.go to top
We may cancel your participation in the program or restrict your participation if:
American Express reserves the right to suspend or cancel the program if any fraud, gaming, manipulation by users, technical failures or similar factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the program which results, or is reasonably likely to result, in any unforeseen or unpredicted loss or damage to American Express or its customers.
We will try to give you reasonable notice of any such incident and take reasonable steps to ensure you are not unfairly impacted if the incident is due to something we have done or failed to do. Please let us know if you suspect any fraudulent or abusive activity at any time.go to top
We may change or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting the new terms and conditions at https://dpui.americanexpress.com/AU/au/terms If the change or modification is a material change, we will notify you that a change has been made and provide access to the new Dimmi Terms and Conditions.
We will update the ‘Effective Date’ at the beginning of this Agreement when we make any change. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions at any time, you should cancel your participation in accordance with Section D above.go to top
These Terms and Conditions and the offer terms do not amend or replace any terms and conditions of the agreement governing your Card account (Card agreement). If you have any questions or concerns about your Card account, including its status, you should call the number provided on the back of your Card or use the online customer support available at your Card issuer’s website.
You must continue to make payments in accordance with your Card agreement. If you don’t, then your participation in the program may be cancelled. You are responsible to pay amounts due as provided in the terms of your Card agreement including all interest or other charges (fees). Fees will accrue on the total amount of all transactions on your synced Card irrespective of any credit or discounts.go to top
These terms and conditions apply to anyone holding an Australian American Express issued Card and are subject to the laws of New South Wales.go to top
